COVID-19 Response

In the current public health and economic crisis arising from COVID-19, the health and wellbeing of our customers, staff and community remains our top priority. 
 
To adapt to the rapidly changing situation we have made a few changes and have implemented the following safety measures for the wellbeing and protection of our community:
 
Claremont Shop
  • Our Claremont shop remains open for take-away and UberEats deliveries from 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm Saturday, closed Sunday
  • We are only accepting cashless payments
  • We are limiting capacity to 2 customers in the store at any one time, and ask all customers to maintain distances of at least 1.5 meters
  • We have temporarily suspended our jar return and recycling policy, so no points will be offered for returned jars for the time being
  • In the meantime we ask customers to rinse and place their jars and lids into their usual household recycling (or creatively upcycle them)
  • Our shop is equiped with handwash and hand-sanitizer, with an increased daily cleaning regime and training and guidance for staff in practicing diligent personal hygiene and social distancing
Production and delivery
  • We have implemented alternate production shifts using two completely separate crews, to maximise our social distancing and minimise transition risk 
  • We have increased our daily cleaning regime with full clean-downs and sanitation of surfaces and equipment
  • Our production facility meets the Australian Food Safety Standards for food and beverage production, including all requirements for cleanliness, sanitation and staff training in food safety and personal hygiene
  • Each member of our delivery staff have a dedicated vehicle, equipped with cleaning and sanitation materials for frequent cleaning
  • Our delivery service continues to be contactless - we leave your order in a safe location at the nominated delivery address and send a text message notifying you of the delivery
  • We have restricted access to our production facility to essential staff only, restricting visitor access and maintaining separate entrances for production and delivery staff
  • No person in our business has contracted or presented any symptoms of the virus, and all staff are instructed to remain away from the workplace if they are unwell or experiencing symptoms of any kind 
  • Additionally staff are advised to observe national guidelines and advice regarding social distancing, including remaining at home unless absolutely necessary 
Despite the challenges we all face, at Pressed Earth we remain spirited for the future and inspired by the sense of hope, community-mindedness and rapid response and innovation out there in our world. We will continue to support our wonderful customers, staff, suppliers and the wider community to the best of our ability and capacity.

Delivery

We offer home delivery on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Our deliveries are made between 5am and 8am. 

Please enter your postcode on the checkout page to confirm that we deliver to your area. Your delivery charge will be calculated on checkout.

Our delivery fee is $7.00 with FREE DELIVERY for orders over $150.

You can also choose to pick up your order free of charge from one of these locations:

  • Pressed Earth Shop Claremont - 8am to 3pm (9am to 3pm Saturdays)
  • Pressed Earth HQ Osborne Park - 8.30 to 3pm
  • IGA Leederville - 8am to 7pm
  • Small Print - 8am to 3pm (currently closed)
