30 Smallish Changes For Better Wellbeing
There are no shortcuts when it comes to your health and wellbeing.
 
We believe that living well is a long game, where the small, positive habits you cultivate over time have a significant and lasting impact on your health. Each choice you make is a chance to build on that positive impact. 
 
That's why we're here to remind you to celebrate and embrace the power of small changes. The little things, practiced with consistency, can have a remarkable impact on your health, happiness and overall wellbeing.
 
Here's our round up of our top 30 smallish things you can do today to live better (without really trying)

 

  1. Read the nutritional label on everything.
  2. Add a veggie to your breakfast.
  3. Finish your shower with a cold spritz (water, not Aperol).
  4. Do the newspaper puzzles while you wait for your coffee.
  5. Wake up an hour earlier.
  6. Dust your indoor plants.
  7. Take your jars back to Pressed Earth.
  8. Send a silly voicenote to a friend.
  9. Learn to make one damn good cocktail.
  10. Breathe in for four, hold, breathe out for six, hold. Repeat.
  11. Take a walk after dinner.
  12. Hop off the couch and do 10 squats before the next ep. starts. 
  13. Wake up and walk outside or look out the window...before you look at your phone.
  14. Pay someone a thoughtful compliment.
  15. Jot down 10 quick, healthy dinners on your Notes app, for when you don't know what to have. 
  16. Buy from a local business, and write them a review.
  17. Plan and prep ahead at least a couple of weekday lunches.
  18. Brew a pot of tea.
  19. Choose the unpackaged version.
  20. Wear sunscreen, every day.
  21. When you're about to complain...smile and say something nice instead.
  22. Unfollow one social media account that makes you feel shitty, jealous or inadequate.
  23. Learn one really good dirty joke.
  24. Clean your phone, your earphones, your laptop.
  25. Take the stairs.
  26. Buy yourself flowers.
  27. Stretch while you binge-watch TV.
  28. Drink more water. 
  29. Eat your veggies first (and your carbs last) - it helps to regulate blood sugar and hormonal responses. 
  30. Wear matching underwear.

Try one or try them all. Often it's the smallest changes that can have the biggest impact on our wellbeing and health.
